More Basic Grey: Urban Prairie and a Toot!

Wow, I can't believe I've been hoarding this product line for so long without using it! Loving the girly factor here, although I had to dig out some family oldies dating back to 1979 to scrap! LOL I'm surrounded by boys it seems, Dave's boys, my nephew Rohan and my three best friends all had their first babies last year...you guessed it! All Boys! So every now and then I like to break out of the brown, orange and green and add some pink to the mix!

Basic Grey: Urban Prairie papers, Fancy Pants felt, Creative Café Tag, Sassafras Lass paper flowers, Rose Moka and AC Thickers Alphas, Hambly Rubons and of course, Blossom Tree by My Little Bit of Whimsy! I used the "bubblewrap technique on the background cardstock, this was lots of fun!

Since I'm new to the Basic Grey world, I decided to send the layout of Brontë from my previous posting to their gallery, and I received an email from them very next day! Yay! You can view it here....I will have to be careful going forward though, and remember not to write the technique descriptions in the application form when I'm half asleep! LOL

Kristine has enabled me, ...again. She received this magazine in the mail, check it out! I love what the French call "FreeStyle" scrapping!

Also, if you haven't already, please take a peek at the talented Whimsy DT member Amanda Muirhead's first posting on the Daisie Diaries! Amanda, I am in awe of your work!

Until next time!

Steph

Oh, I almost forgot! The Whimsy Winter Sale has been extended until March 9th for those of you who didn't get a chance to partake! (coupon code: whimsywinter)
