New Chipboard Fav!!!!

I'm in love with this new chipboard I received from Australia this week...you MUST check it out! So fun and funky! Leeann Pearce rocks the chipboard!!! (check our her blog for her new releases! Love them!) Here's a little scenery I made with a few pieces in my lightbox... I've already used one of the supercool scallop borders on a layout, but I can't reveal it online until Wednesday :) You can order the chipboard here

I do have a layout to share with you this weekend....I finished this one last week for the "So You Think You Can Scrap" challenge over at LCOM...this week was "Monochromatic". I really struggled with this one, I guess I rely on lost of bright color combos to tell my story....and not being able to use them really challenged me! That's what its all about right? In the end, I'm quite pleased with the results :)

I was really focused on getting my Whimsy Shop up to date this week...which really cuts into my scrapping time! However I was able to get a couple of layouts done :) Here's one I completed for the first round of "So You Think You Can Scrap" contest over at LCOM. I was sooooo nervous about this challenge: "Clean and Simple"...I usually load up my layouts with embellies etc. I made it onto the next round, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Here's my latest layout for Creative Scrappers, sketch #88....Loved working with all this white ink! And these papers from Basic Gray are some of my favs (Lemonade). This photo is of Dave and I on the Tower Bridge in London, UK the day after our engagement :)

I had to post a photo of my new little cheeseburgers in the Whimsy shop....I just love them!!! I think Dave and I should have a photo shoot at a burger place this week, just so I can scrap with these! tee hee

January Layouts!

Here are a few new Layouts and projects I've been working on lately :)

Here's my take on the Creative Scrappers Sketch #86.....Fun photo of Sally and I and of course, Sassafras everywhere!!! Love this collection of paper "Life at the Pole"...so fun!

Here is one of Emilee I finished last night while Kristine and I were Skyping!!! tee hee so much fun! Like a virtual scrappy night :) Now that I've moved 4hours away, we don't often get a chance to scrap and chat like we used to... but now we can! It was so cool to take her on a virtual tour of my scrappy place and show her projects that I've been working on but haven't posted yet :)

This was for Week 2 of the 52 Pick Up Challenge over at LCOM! I struggled with the sketch a bit because I'm not usually one to use circles often...but it was nice to get out of my comfort zone! hehe

Here's another layout that I finished this week using some older Basic Grey papers and chipboard...Sugared.

I'm so proud of Emilee!!!

And finally, here's an altered album I finished this week, I've always wanted to use my MLBOW Cupcakes with this Pink Paislee collection Sweet Cakes (I think that is what its called, no link on the PP site!)

New Blog Look!

I've been working on a few Creative Scrappers Layouts lately and can't share anything just yet until the Reveals for Sketches 84 & 86!
