Here are a few highlights of the trip! What an amazing vacation week! Dave and I had never been South before, so the entire trip was a first! It was beautiful, relaxing and exactly what we needed to restore ourselves from our hectic day to day lives :)
Sandals Whitehouse is a beautiful resort, with phenomenal staff, service and food! If you ever have the opportunity to visit, I highly recommend it! Its about 1.5 hours from the Montego Bay Airport, but well worth it. Its secluded, with what I think is an older crowd (still fun, just not Spring Break-ish), and a couple of miles of the most beautiful beaches!
Headbands and sunglasses....a girls lifesaver in the humid climate!
My hair was out of control and forget about makeup LOL
This is the view of the resort from our hotel room
There are 5 Peacocks on the property, and the males are the loudest!
Dave has photos of his plumage, I will post them tomorrow, so beautiful!
Lounging on the beach was by far our favorite thing to do....we loved the beach in the French Village the most, as the water didn't have a spec of seaweed and we had these beautiful Angel Fish circle us in the waters.
On the Glass Bottomed Boat ride, the diver went out and gathered all kinds of fun things to show us!
Look at the size of this star fish!
Here's a Sea Cucumber, such a strange creature!
We also toured the
Black River, home to about 500-600 Crocodiles...
Mangrove Trees on the Black River
Can you Spot the Croc?
These are the
YS Falls, so lovely! It was a bit rocky for my feet to swim in, but they were beautiful!
(note to self, bring water shoes next trip!)
Here's a view of the Resort

That's it for now! I'm sure I'll have more photos later this week :)
Cheers,
Steph
