A Kitchy Friday Night!

So I haven't had the best of luck with printers over the years, a combination of not knowing what to buy and having a limited budget...(My dream is for a wide format printer, alas....one of these days!)
The last printer I had was so terrible, I just brought it to the electronic recycling depot last year, spare cartridges and all....it worked fine as long as you didn't mind the "magenta look".  Now getting back to the point of this post, I finally took the pluge and bought another printer last week.  Nothing fancy or expensive, just a really great salesperson who "got" what I was looking for and pointed me in the right direction.

The first thing I set out to do was print our a few of my digital kits from Kitchy Digitals.  I just love Danielle's retro style, so quirky and fun!

Here is the layout I made with "Granny's Attic" and the "Stacked Flowers" kits....the printer did an amazing job!

Everything you see here save for the title (Maya Road) and the background kraft paper was printed with my HP Eprint printer, even the photo!  What freedom!  I don't always have to wait to pick up my prints at the store now :)

Thanks for letting me share my excitement!  Only a scrapper would understand the importance of a great printer on hand!

Happy Sunday

Scrappy Weekend at the LCOM Crop

In the midst of our renovations, I scooted on up to Moncton to scrap and chat with Kristine, Zoe, and Marielle....Tanya's crops are always worth the trip!

Kristine, Tanya (and her hubs) and I stayed up late the night before to get the shop ready.....and we were so tired we slept in a bit, sacrificing some valuable scrappy time!  Here is what I was able to work on, despite or late arrival....
Thanks for taking a peek!

Welcome Chaos....

Yes, I am still kickin' around....
We've been undergoing a few renovations in the house, particularly the basement where my computer/scrap/whimsy space is....so I've been relying on my iPhone for the last 3weeks for my Internet connection!

Here is the basement last week, see the new floors?  Love!  That piano was a BEAST to move around!

Our bedroom is also in the basement (I know, weird eh?) So here is is after we had the floors done in that section and moved ALL of Dave's office and my scrappy stuff into it...can you spy my scrappy table upended? What about the clip it up at the veeeeery  back?

Here is my scrappy space after moving all of the big pieces in and emptying the boxes.  Yikes!  It still needs organizing and purging, however my computer is set up and I'm finally able to sit down comfortably and scrap!  The new laminate floors are divine and totally worth 3 weeks of chaos, now to go pack up the kitchen for the demolition guys on Monday!

Thanks for visiting!
